Dogs have an extraordinary sense of smell and have 200 million or even more olfactory receptors that can smell. The bloodhound has the best sense of smell. Then, it's a basset hound which is the best at finding a trail and then sticking to it. Next, is a beagle which is best at following their nose. Then, a german shepherd which is best at helping find buried victims. Next, the labrador retriever is the best at sniffing out medical issues with patients. Then, the Belgian malinois is best at working to find bombs or drugs. Next, the bluetick coonhound is best at finding racoons. Black and tan coonhounds are the best at detecting the cold trail that no other pup or dog can find. Golden retrievers are the best at using their nose to find people, trails,and even food. Dachshunds are the best at sniffing out animals for their human hunters.

Border Collies are the best dogs at Agility training and are one of the smartest large dog breed. #1 Border Collie When most people picture agility training, a Border Collie immediately comes to mind. These medium sized herders are renowned for their intelligence, high-energy, and trainability. These dogs can be a handful, but having a job to do, whether it's on a farm or on an obstacle course, is the key to the Border Collie's happiness. Here are some of the best dogs in dog shows. The Wire Fox Terrier is no doubt the favorite pup at the dog show. They have an appearance similar to the Smooth Fox Terrier, but differ in their bent ears and a thick, curly coat. These pups weigh in at most 18 pounds, and have a charismatic, keen, and bold personality that has won the judges over 13 times. Scottish Terrier The Scottish Terrier is one of the smallest breeds at the Kennel Club Dog Show, and despite its size, makes a great contender.
